WEEK OF DOODLES

As a compulsive doodler I wanted to share a week of what goes on in the pages of my sketchbook.

MONDAY

Monday doodles can be disturbing. The combination of the inescapable dread of the upcoming week, along with the delirium of the previous weekend can result in interesting, yet scary doodles. My subconscious doodle brain typically bombards me with amorphous horrors and nonsensical ideas on Mondays.

Tuesday

Tuesday is widely considered to be the most productive day. I think my sketchbook agrees. The page is almost certain to be filled on a Tuesday. The topics are far more lighthearted than its predecessor and are less likely to cause someone to anonymously report me.

Wednesday

The great day of equilibrium. The center of mass of the week. Hump Day. Wednesday pages typically have a balance to them. Departing from the cramped pages of the previous day, Wednesday pages seem to have their life in order.

THursday

Thursday pages can be the most dangerous sometimes. My last day of classes is on Thursday and the exhaustion from the week can be seen. Ragged lines, unfinished shapes, and words with meanings only understood by the great Doodle Brain are hallmarks of Thursday.

Friday

Friday is not a day of mindless doodling. It is a day of reflection and healing. This is the day my most well-made doodles are born. If the other day’s doodles are blurry looks into my mind, consider a Friday doodle a 4k view. Yes, this Friday, I was feeling like an old west sheriff.
